What a ROPP cap is
A ROPP cap is an aluminium closure supplied as a smooth, unthreaded shell. During capping, threading rollers press the aluminium into the bottle’s neck profile while a top block compresses the liner, so the thread is formed on each bottle rather than moulded to an average. A scored pilfer band at the base tucks under the neck’s locking ring and breaks on first opening, which is the built-in tamper evidence. ROPP cap sizes: the standard range
ROPP closures are made in a standard range of diameters from 18 mm to 70 mm, each matched to a neck finish. R Vision manufactures 28/15 mm. The other sizes are listed as industry reference so you can see where your bottle sits, and R Vision does not supply them.

It uses a PVC-free TPE liner and comes in three ring variants: Round Ring, Two Slit and Five Slit. Liner options
R Vision lines both closures with TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), and Bev Cap’s liner is specified PVC-free. Pressure rating
Both closures are rated to 8 bar. A carbonated drink pushes outward on the closure, and that pressure climbs as the pack warms in a godown or a closed truck, so the rating is set above what the drink reaches in normal storage. Tamper band
The two closures take different approaches to tamper evidence. Aqua Cap’s three-part ring breaks apart on first opening, which is the at-a-glance signal a water buyer looks for.
